Business Intelligence Analyst - Richmond, VA

We are seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to help transform business needs and data into insights that drive better decisions. This role works closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to support retail promotions, troubleshoot systems, and help develop reporting tools that improve business performance. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with both people and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Support client marketing teams in setting up and managing retail promotions using company tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify business needs and improvement opportunities.
• Diagnose system or data issues and help implement solutions.
• Optimize queries and data processes to improve reporting performance.
• Ensure data accuracy and maintain reporting quality.
• Provide support and guidance to users of reporting tools and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 1–5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, business intelligence, or consulting.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of or interest in SQL and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
