Applications Support Analyst

We are currently seeking an Applications Support Analyst to join our growing team!

As an Applications Support Analyst, you will be involved in the support of a suite of products that manages the promotional efforts for one of the nation’s largest consumer packaged goods companies. Success in this position will result in meeting the needs of over 2,500 end users across the country. You will interact directly with users to provide level 2 and 3 support, research issues and make recommendations for application enhancements. Other responsibilities include authoring and executing ad-hoc reports, providing break-fix/minor application modifications and interfacing with the client’s help desk personnel. The ideal candidate for this entry level position will also have the opportunity of transitioning to a development role within the team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years in a software/systems support or analyst role
  • Proven SQL skills (Oracle PL/SQL preferred)
  • Web application development experience in C#/ASP.NET
  • Tenacious problem solving both in capability and attitude
  • Self-starter with a desire and ability to learn new concepts and technology quickly
  • Entrepreneurial-minded with the ability to make decisions both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexible and eager to pinch hit at a moment’s notice
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a keen sense of meeting customer service needs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Programmer Analyst

We are currently seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our growing team!

As a Programmer Analyst you will be responsible for application enhancements as well as implementing new functionality including prototyping a new order management system for the field sales force's tablet PCs. Modifying software to correct errors. Coordinating with installation of software systems. Developing ASP.NET applications using #C, Ajax and Javascript (jQuery) with Visual Studio 2008 and working within an application framework developing web-based line of business applications. Designing, developing, and understanding object-oriented solutions. Engage with your team to ensure overall application architecture alignment and the successful delivery of high quality, defect-free applications. Investigate new software technologies to meet current and future needs. Will evaluate user requests for enhancements to existing programs, determine technical feasibility, estimate time, and ensure compatibility with exiting application and systems, and document performance criteria. Will participate in logical database design and may coordinate changes to database architecture.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Comp. Sci., Eng., or quant.
  • Related field + 5 years of experience in software development.
