Business Analyst - on-site Richmond, VA

As a Business Analyst you will be on-site in Richmond’s Near West End assisting the marketing department of one of America’s premier consumer package goods companies. For fifteen years, Visalia has provided this client with best-in class, custom software and support services that help power their promotion business. You will be our key on-site resource and will interface directly not only with the customer but with the rest of Visalia’s Boston/New York teams.

Responsibilities:

• Learn the promotional methodology of some of the world’s most recognized brands.
• Assist the marketing team in setting up retail product promotions, brand launches and POS programs.
• Attend brand and marketing strategy meetings to help identify opportunities where Visalia’s software
   development and business process know-how can be applied to improve our client’s business.
• Help manage ongoing projects.
• Work directly with Visalia’s other team members to diagnose systems problems.
• Be the day to day face of Visalia at our most important client.

 

Qualifications::

• Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or other related degree.
• Minimum 1-3 years project management or business analyst experience.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a highly motivated individual with a thirst for learning and be able to
   take direction in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment.
• Past experience in identifying new business opportunities within an existing client
• Must be detail oriented, possess superior organizational skills, and be able to handle multiple projects
   simultaneously.
